Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 17, 2026
North & Vine is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience of our website and hold ourselves to high standards of accessibility compliance.
Our Commitment
We believe the web should be accessible to everyone. As a digital agency that builds websites for travel brands, accessibility is not only a legal and ethical obligation — it is core to how we approach our craft. We apply the same accessibility principles to our own site that we recommend to our clients.
Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Measures We Take
To ensure accessibility, North & Vine takes the following measures:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the design
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- ARIA landmarks and labels where appropriate
- Responsive design that functions across screen sizes and zoom levels
- Form labels and error messages that are programmatically associated
- Skip navigation links for keyboard users
- Avoidance of content that flashes or auto-plays without user control
Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Operating system accessibility features such as high contrast mode and text scaling
- Mobile accessibility features on iOS and Android
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some content may not yet fully meet all criteria. Areas where we are actively working on improvements include:
- Third-party embedded content (such as video players or social media widgets) that may not fully meet accessibility standards
- Older PDF documents that may not be fully screen-reader accessible
We are working to address these limitations and will update this statement as improvements are made.
